Mike Spence 1968 STP Oil Treatment Special Lotus Turbine. The highly talanted Spence was signed by Colin Chapman to drive one of the most innovative cars in the Speedway's history. During tire tests he was very fast clocking laps just below 170mph. Unfortunately he was tragically killed when his #30 Lotus hit the wall exiting turn 1 and was struck by a tire that had been torn from the car upon impact.
