Johnny Thomson 1950's McHal racing helmet, trophy, 2 pair of goggles, newspaper clippngs and programs with pictures of Johnny throughout his career. An open wheel star of the 1950's Thomson found success on dirt and pavement in sprints, midgets and Indy Champ cars. Thomson competed in 8 Indianapolis 500 Mile race events with his highest finish of 3rd in 1959 the same year that he sat in the pole position.
