MARK DONOHUE 1973 PENSKE RACING CHAMP CAR & CAN AM SUNOCO BELL STAR HELMET

Extremely rare Mark Donohue 1973 Penske Racing Sunoco Bell Star helmet. This helmet was used at the 1973 Indianapolis 500 Mile Race where Donohue started on the outside of row one and finished 15th after a burned piston ended his day. This helmet was also used in the CanAm series in '73 where Donohue raced the dominating Porsche 917-30 and won every race that season. I am still researching and has yet to be confirmed, but this helmet may have also been used at Indianapolis in 1972. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own an origional helmet from the winner of the 1972 Indianapolis 500 Mile Race and one of racing's true legends.
